Police are appealing for witnesses after a home in Kingskerswell was burgled and more than £1,500 worth of jewellery was taken.
The burglar entered the property on the Newton Road on the morning of August 26 through an insecure window while the home owner was in the garden.
A sapphire and diamond ring worth £500, a £300 cross in sold gold and a two pairs of earrings worth £200 were among the items stolen.
Wallets, cards and £250 in cash was also grabbed along with a Nintendo DS and an Anne Klein watch.
The crime took place between 9.30am and 1.15pm.
