WHILE the new 13-plate will feature on cars rolling out of showrooms from Friday, March 1, some 13-plates are more valuable than others.
DVLA Personalised Registrations recently released its next 1,500 registrations to go under the hammer in Leeds in three weeks' time.
The sale being held at the De Vere Village Leeds South hotel on March 20-22 will be the first to incorporate the 13-series.
Prime examples going under the gavel include AB13 OTT, BO13 BYS and RE13 ECA, each with £1,000 reserves.
Other name-related registrations certain to prove popular over the three days include GO12 DON, FE12 GAL and KA12 ENS, again all with £1,000 reserves, while North East residents will undoubtedly be keen on DU12 HAM and HU11 CTY with reserves of £1000 and £900 respectively.
DVLA Personalised Registrations' calendar of three-day auctions for 2013 also includes events at the Morgan Motor Company from May 22, the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, from July 25, Mercedes Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey, from September 26 and the Park Royal Hotel in Warrington, Cheshire, from November 27.
