TWO alleged sex attackers have appeared in court charged with assaulting two girls in a Torquay park.
Masudur Rahman and Mohammed Islam, both 18, from Tipton in the West Midlands have been accused of sexually assaulting the girls at Torre Valley sports field.
Police closed off the park after two girls, aged under 13, both claimed they had been the victims of a serious sexual assault.
Rahman and Islam appeared on Saturday at Torquay Magistrates' Court to answer an offence under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The case was sent to Exeter Crown Court. The defendants were remanded in custody until September 19.
Police were called to the field on Thursday, September 5.
