FLOOD Alerts have been issued for South Devon.
The Friday afternoon Flood Alerts were issued by the Environment Agency.
They say flooding is possible for Totnes, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Dartmouth and Torbay, with low-lying land and roads affected first.
Alerts were also issued for the rivers Teign, Bovey and Lemon as well as coastal streams all along the South Devon coast.
Up to 20mm of rain was forecast to fall during Friday afternoon, with the risk of flooding increased by melting snow on higher ground.
Some areas were expected to be upgraded to the more serious Flood Warning status during the evening.
After a brief respite during the day on Saturday, the rain was expected to return.
