HIGHLY acclaimed British blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Chantel McGregor announces a date at Totnes' fresh-faced venue.
The South Devon Arts Centre is about to see their capacity increased to 300, and will duly see more and more nationally renowned artists such as Chantel attracted to the area. Having won the coveted British Blues Awards titles of Young Artist of the Year in 2011 and Best Female Vocalist in 2012, Chantel McGregor is going strong.
The release of her revered debut album Like No Other in 2011 led her to feature alongside Eric Clapton on the album 100 Years Of Blues and afforded her the opportunity to twice tour beside the legendary Joe Bonamassa.
To paint a picture... imagine the tone of Robin Trower, the inspiration of Hendrix, the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the energy of Bonamassa, the intensity of Walter Trout, and the haunting vocals of Stevie Nicks all rolled into one. That is Chantel McGregor.
With a career going nowhere but skyward, she has quickly become one of the nation's most admired performers. Get your tickets for this show in Totnes before they sell out.
She'll appear at the venue on September 10.
