JASON Baker of Bryce Baker is delighted to announce the expansion of the firm into Torquay with two new offices coinciding with a merger with long established multi-office South Devon agency, Wood's Estate Agents & Auctioneers.
The new combined firm will have a striking new black, white and red image with new branded sale boards, office fronts, eye-catching press adverts and smart new property details.
Alongside these exciting changes is the introduction of a totally new state-of-the-art website which continues the new brand theme and showcases properties both for sale and to let across South Devon.
The agency recently opened a brand new office in Walnut Road, Chelston and further extended its presence across Torbay with the recent retirement purchase of a well known independent agency Caslings in St Marychurch Torquay.
The new expanded agency will trade as Woods Bryce Baker across its three Torbay offices and as Woods in both Teignbridge and the South Hams.
Director Jason Baker explains: "I have been a partner in the Woods estate agency for a number of years now and we have always worked closely together and this merger has been the logical next step for the business.
"Our clients will immediately benefit with our increased high profile exposure in newspaper, online, boards and office presence in the key areas of Torbay and inland towards Dartmoor with Woods offices covering, Kingskerswell, Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, Totnes, Chudleigh, Teign Valley and surrounding areas, increasing the groups geographical coverage, combining the experience and local knowledge of over 40 dedicated staff and directors, within the expanded seven office network.
"Not only have we sold thousands of properties through the area but, over the last 15 years we have also built a market leading specialist lettings department which is separately staffed and managed, providing advice to both landlord and tenants giving peace of mind that their properties are in safe hands."
'Trustworthy, Dedicated, Rigorous, Proactive, Friendly', not the usual words associated with a lettings company but genuine comments from happy landlords and tenants.
Not surprising with only a 1% deposit dispute rate* and 95% managed occupancy rate earning us a reputation as the go-to agent for properties in Torbay 01803 390000 and now Teignbridge and South Hams 01626 364700.
Fellow director Andrew Pounsberry said: "This is not just a name change and merger of two well established companies. The new brand is the culmination of months of work to ensure the result would represent the quality of service and professionalism of the agency. "We have also invested hugely in technology within the group; we have recently introduced brand new estate agency software which has greatly enhanced communications and marketing. I am particularly excited about the launch of our new website woodshomes.co.uk which has exceeded all our expectations in our aim to create a website that is easy to use and navigate. It offers useful information and insights into the property market, is designed to be viewed across multiple devices and of course has an excellent search facility. We are also pleased to be able to say its look and design is markedly different from the usual run of the mill websites you will be accustomed to seeing. We are sure it will be a winner and a point of difference with other agents."
Director Nick Wood based in the Totnes office also sees the merger as a great step forward for the business. He said: "Woods has always been an authority on what we designate as the 'Distinctive Homes' section of the market and has a strong tradition in running successful auctions, both bespoke and multi lot.
"The wealth of experience that is available in these specialist fields within the expanded group is second to none locally and will enable us to provide an unrivalled service.
"Why not call your local office for a free market valuation and take our 28 day contract challenge."
