OUCH! This is the moment the lights went out for Torquay United striker Elliot Benyon.
The Gulls forward had just come on as a substitute in the Capital One Cup match at Swindon on Tuesday night when he was pole-axed by an accidental knee in the face.
After lengthy treatment he was stretchered off the pitch, but has since been given the all-clear.
‘’There was a clash almost as soon as he came on the pitch,’’ said United boss Alan Knill. ‘’The Swindon lad’s knee caught him in the head and the players are shouting for the doctor as soon as he went down.
‘’You think the worst and I’m led to believe that he was concussed, but he’s ok. He is in the dressing room now but not as chirpy as he usually is, so I think we’re all enjoying some peace and quiet.
‘’Whenever someone goes down and they don’t move, you to start worry, and the reaction from both sets of players said we quickly needed some help.’’
