RUNNERS from across South Devon have been taking on the challenge of the London Marathon today.

Among those taking part and raising money for good causes are Martin McCahill from Totnes running for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Claire Greenfield from Torquay running for the NSPCC, Liz Sampson, from Torquay running for the Pituitary Foundation, Sarah Creer from Paignton running for the Alzheimer’s Society, Greg Clark, operations director at QMS in Newton Abbot raising money for The Lighthouse Club,

Torquay resident Barbara Bottomley running for Bowel Cancer UK and Rob Wright, Tracey Granger and Michelle Leo all running for Rowcroft Hospice
