TWO young children were among six people to escape unhurt from a crash at Churston in which a vehicle ended up on its roof.
Two cars - a Ford Ka and a Ford Fiesta - collided on the Brixham side of Windy Corner on Tuesday morning.
The road at Churston was blocked while police, fire crews, and three ambulances were sent to the scene on Tuesday morning shortly before 10am.
Witnesses described seeing a mother with two young daughters emerging from one car. The ambulance service later confirmed that nobody had been hurt.
The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and a Ford Ka. There were three people inside of each of the vehicles.
One witness said traffic was heavy in the area, with queues in both directions.
The main road was closed at Cherrybrook Drive, and traffic was diverted through the Hookhills estate.
It took two hours to clear the scene.
