DAWLISH Repertory Company is getting fired up and ready to present its latest pantomime, Robinson Crusoe, at the Shaftesbury Theatre next month.

Scripted, directed and choreographed by Paula Smith, this is a lively and colourful family show with up-to-date songs and an energetic and talented cast.

Follow the trials of hero Robinson Crusoe as he becomes shipwrecked and tries to find the ruby treasure in order to marry his love.

Of course all does not run smoothly as the evil Captain Jack Hawkins tries to thwart his plans but with the help of the Fairy, Man Friday and a few more colourful characters, he is on a mission to find the treasure.

The show runs from January 4 to 12. There will be no performances on Sundays. The box office opens on December 27 to 29 and then reopens on January 2 until the end of the run. For tickets, call the box office on 01626 863061.
