Possession lock knife in a public place and in dangerous circumstances.

Janet HODGE, Abbey Road, Torquay. Age: 59. On 18/04/2012 at Torbay assaulted a constable in the execution of his duty. Plea: Not Guilty. Dismissed (no evidence offered). David George MILLS, Hookhills Road, Paignton. Age: 23. On 04/02/2013 at Paignton without lawful authority, used violence for the purpose of securing entry into premises in Winner Street, knowing that there was someone present on those premises who was opposed to the entry. Offence withdrawn at prosecution request. On 04/02/2013 at Paignton assaulted a male by beating him. Plea: Guilty. On 04/02/2013 at Paignton without lawful excuse, damaged a pair of glasses to the value of £325. Plea: Guilty. Compensation of £200. Fined £105. Victim surcharge of £20. Costs of £85.

Jason Edward John KERSWELL, Captains Road, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot. Age: 41. On 17/02/2013 at Newton Abbot without reasonable excuse caused alarm, harassment and distress to a person while prohibited from doing by an anti-social behaviour order. Plea: Guilty. Breach of suspended sentence imposed for breaching Asbo. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 12 weeks implemented as a sentence of six weeks.

Luke TEMPLETON, The Reeves Road, Torquay. Age: 22. Between 23/01/2013 and 17/02/2013 at Paignton caused a female to fear that violence would be used against her. On 12/02/2013 at Paignton had in a public place, namely The Palace Hotel, Paignton, an offensive weapon, namely a knife. Remanded in custody until 26/02/2013.

James David PRIOR, Newton Road, Bishopsteignton, Teignmouth. Age: 45. On 16/05/2012 at Teignmouth assaulted a male by beating him. Plea: Not Guilty. Adjourned to 25/02/2013.

Lauren Stacey WEST, Coronation Road, Kingsbridge. Age: 24.On 05/11/2012 at Totnes sent by means of a public electronic communications network a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. Plea: Guilty. Between 6/11/12 and 8/11/12 at Buckfastleigh pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a female and which amounted to the harassment of her in that sent 42 voice mail messages in 48 hours, some of which threatened harm, and Facebook messages of a similar nature. Plea: Guilty. Plus breached bail. Remanded in custody until 12/03/2013 for a pre-sentence report.

Sharon Caroline DAVEY, NFA. Age: 35. On 11/12/2012 at Totnes without lawful excuse, damaged a record player to a value unknown intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Plea: Guilty. On 30/10/2012 at Totnes without lawful excuse, destroyed front passenger window pane of a camper van and kitchen window of house to the value of £150 intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Plea: Not Guilty. Verdict: Proved in Absence. On 01/01/2013 at Totnes without lawful excuse, damaged a glass window to the value of £120 belonging to Westcountry Housing intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Plea: Guilty. Committed to prison for three months.

David DE-NIRO, Cookham, Berkshire. Age: 52. Between 05/12/2012 and 09/02/2013 at Newton Abbot pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a female. Plea: Not Guilty. Remanded on bail until 25/03/2013 for the trial.

Campbell Howie MACDAIRMID, Church Street, Paignton. Age: 48. On 13/01/2013 at Brixham having entered as a trespasser a building, namely Northfields News, stole a large quantity of cigarettes to the value of over £1,000. Plea: Not Guilty. On 01/02/2013 at Paignton having entered as a trespasser a building, namely Aston and Clarke Hairdressers, stole therein cash and hairdressing equipment. Plea: Not Guilty. Daniel POLITANSKI, HM Prison Dartmoor. Age: 34. On 07/10/2011 at Paignton assaulted a woman by beating her. Plea: Not Guilty. Remanded on unconditional bail until 08/03/2013.
