Summer showers may have been a feature of August but Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park still has plenty to do whatever the weather.
With more than 75,000 square feet of indoor play including the new underwater themed indoor heated play area The Lost World of Atlantis there is plenty to do come rain or shine. The new attraction includes three new rides: Shark Bay, the eagerly awaited second rollercoaster to the Park, the Super Subs featuring bright and colourful submarines and Neptune’s Seacups, a new teacup style ride suitable for all ages.
The Adventure Zone is right next door offering an abundance of fun with exhilarating slides, aerial walkways, climbing nets and rope swings. Younger guests go wild in the Soft Play Zone where they will find the excitement and adventure around every corner.
Brand new for the Animal Kingdom, Bugz Unlimited gives guests the chance to explore a world of creepy crawlies. The attraction features an incredible Leaf Cutter Ant display and other fascinating creatures including a giant African land snail, Chilean Rose Tarantula, Jungle Nymph Stick Insects, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and much more. With a range of Close Encounter Sessions, guests can dare to be brave and get very close to some of these extraordinary insects!
The indoor Show Dome offers plenty of space for everyone. With live shows from the talented entertainment team featuring everyone’s favourite Crealy mascot, Buddy Bear and a series of children’s TV character mini shows and appearances including Peppa Pig on Wednesday 20th August, Jungle Jim along with his jungle friends on Tuesday 26th August and Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob on Wednesday 27th August. Shows are held at intervals during the day.
With a rain coat or poncho, the outdoor adventures needn’t stop! The brand new Dino Jeeps and Flying Machine as well as favourites the Tidal Wave Log Flume and Vortex the triple tube water coaster there is plenty to look forward to at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park this summer.
