POLICE are hunting a cyclist who verbally abused and pushed his bike into a 12-year-old girl in Paignton.

The local girl was walking at the junction of Waterleat Road and Waterleat Avenue when she was involved in a collision with a bicycle which had approached her from behind.

Police say the cyclist, described as a man in his 40s, is then believed to have verbally abused the girl and pushed his bicycle into her again, before riding off in the direction of Kings Ash Road.

Police have already spoken to a number of witnesses in the area, but the cyclist currently remains unidentified.

The incident took place at about 3.30pm Wednesday, October 2, 2013.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting crime reference FP/13/3365.

Bit of a contradiction there Trogg. Have you just tarred yourself with your own brush? The truth is we don't know anything about the circumstances and to suggest otherwise is pure speculation.

cyclists believe that they have right of way and can ride on the pavements, run red lights as they see fit, despite being against the law,as someone who ride a pushbike, i keep to the rules of the road, shame they all don't,
