DAISY Mai Cheung was christened on board the training ship Royalist on one of her visits to Brixham.
The ship's bell was used as the font during the christening of Jimmy and Amy Cheung's daughter, which was attended by 65 friends and family members.
Daisy's name is now engraved inside the bell, alongside many other names of people that have been christened on board the ship over her 42 years of service.
Royalist was built for the purpose of training sea cadets from units all over the UK. The 99ft ship takes 24 cadets to sea for a week at a time, visiting ports all around the UK and various continental ports.
The christening was arranged by the ship's captain, Angela Morris, who is Daisy's aunt.
The service was conducted by Reverend Andi Hofbauer, Canon of Wakefield Cathedral and a friend of the family, who often serves on board Royalist as relief bosun.
