SOME great fish have been caught by Torbay and Babbacombe ASA members, including a new ladies' boat record for Sallie Date with a bull huss of 14lb 9oz 8 drams caught from Nick Best's boat Alison.

Nick caught the winning fish, another large bull huss of 16–4–8, which was only a few ounces short of the clubs senior boat record.

These fish – returned alive – also were entered in to Paignton SAA's open competition and achieved first and second place

Special mention to Andy Smith with an excellent shore caught Huss of 12lb 12 drams. Fourth place was Kevin Rouse with an excellent trigger of 2lb 13oz 8 drams, which was just a few ounces short of the club record.
