LEADING South Devon housebuilder Linden Homes has raised £8,000 at its Charity Golf Day for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Rowcroft Hospice.
Guests were invited to play at Torquay's 18-hole golf course. There was also a hole in one competition to win a BMW, a longest drive and putting competition, as well as a tempting raffle.
Nigel Palmer, managing director of Linden Homes said: "We're absolutely delighted that our first charity golf day was such a resounding success.
"Not only was the event fun for everyone involved but we managed to raise a huge sum of money – £4,000 each – for two very worthwhile charities."
Another charity golf day is being planned for next year.
