CARP are coming to the surface at Newbarn Farm to feed in numbers.

Jake Brown was one angler to take carp using floating dog biscuit as he landed and weighed in two mirror carp of 14lbs and 15lbs.

Ray Connor from Brixham, had one off the top when he used a dog biscuit to add an 11lbs 10oz common carp to his catch report.

Dave Hants fished from hut seven into the corner under the overhanging trees to get a mirror of 15lbs 15ozs and a common of 10lbs. He used bread floating on the top.

Overnighter Pete Skrivanos, fished from hut one out to the island margins and was blessed with nine Carp to 21lbs 5ozs. His total weight was 125lbs all attributable to the well known AC Baits boilies.

Another overnighter, Martin Campbell, also got his total carp weight to more than 100lbs with five commons to 15lbs 8ozs, three mirrors to 14lbs 8ozs and these were complemented with a 17lbs 12oz leather carp.

Nine carp fell to Kevin Lock's night session with carp to 15lbs. This bag included an elusive grass carp of 5lbs, not seen on the bank for some time.

From hut nine, day ticketer Jim Pike had just one carp but it was a very nice mirror of 16lbs 5ozs. Jim used his own home made pellet.

Birthday boy Dom Crawley from Paignton had Casper on his unhooking mat and weighed him in at 23lbs. He also had a mirror of 18lb and a common of 12lbs.

Visiting all the way from Bristol were four anglers who completed a 48 hour session. Joe Reed put his report in and told us he had six carp to 17lbs. His cohorts all had at least two carp each.
