Torquay Squash A moved up a place to fourth as they were the only Premier side to record a win this week. They beat St Anne's B 4-2, whose super sub Brian Milden used all his mastery to compile a break of 39 in the final frame.
Mid-Devon Constitutional A moved up a place to seventh, as they came from behind to earn a 3-3 draw with sixth-placed Brixham Conservative A, who recorded their seventh draw of the season.
Preston Cue G slipped to tenth place after having a free week.
JOHN Shelley compiled a break of 36 and Lewis Colclough one of 34 as leaders St Marychurch Conservative Q extended their lead at the top to eight points - even though they lost.
The Con Clubbers went down 4-2 to ninth placed Brixham Conservative B, of whom John Heather scored a break of 24 in the fourth frame as they came from 2-1 down to record their fifth win of the season.
Second-placed Preston Conservative A lost ground on the leaders after having a free week.
Third-placed Torquay Squash D closed to within a point of the promotion places, as they recorded a 5-1 win over bottom side Preston Cue E.

Draw specialists Kirkham Street B remain in fifth place as they recorded their sixth of the season, coming from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 with tenth-placed Torquay Squash B.
Brixham Sea Anglers A stayed in sixth place, as they beat seventh-placed Riley's D 4-2.
PRESTON Cue H opened up a eight-point advantage over the chasing pack as they maintained their unbeaten run this season, as they recorded their twelfth win of the season defeating Teignmouth Royal British Legion B 4-2.
Second-placed Preston Conservative C lost ground to the leaders as they suffered a 4-2 reversal to third-placed Torbay Royal Yacht Club B, of whom Jack Beale compiled a break of 24, his third break in the Breakmasters this season.
Preston Cue Q slipped to fourth as they went down 4-2 to fifth-placed Hookhills B, for whom Dean Sherman scored a 22 clearance in the third frame to sty top in the Breakmasters.
Roundham B moved up a place to ninth, as Dale Stockman scored a 24 break in their 6-0 thrashing of seventh placed St Marychurch Conservative B.
Preston Cue D had six points deducted and another fine as they failed to turn up to their fixture with Preston Cue C.
The Cue men are approaching thin ice as league officials take a dim view of teams repeatedly failing to show up.
"Teams who consistently fail to play their matches will be fined and deducted points, but after three occasions the committee will reserve the right to remove the team/or replace the team," said administrator Lee McArthur.
"The committee would like to remind the teams and players who keep failing to turn up each week, and ruining the league for the committed members, the will be refused entry to the winter season or any future season unless matches are played and fines are paid."
