Drew pots new best with 33

BRIXHAM Conservative C maintained their four-point advantage over the chasing pack in Division Two as Stan Drew scored a break of 33, the highest in the division, as they beat 11th-placed St Anne's F 5-1.

Peter Kirk won St Anne's only frame to avoid the white wash.

Torquay Squash B stayed in second place and maintained the gap to the leaders, as they beat ninth-placed Preston Cue E 5-1. Scott Kenney won Cue E's only frame.

Galaxy D moved up a place to third as they recorded their fourth win of the season, as they came from 2-1 down to beat seventh-placed Preston Cue B 4-2.

Galaxy Q moved up a couple of places to fourth as they beat sixth-placed Preston Conservative B 4-2, who won the final two frames.

Brixham Conservative D slipped a couple of places to fifth, as they suffered their second defeat of the season, 4-2 to eighth-placed Torbay Royal Yacht Club B.

Torquay Squash C moved out of the relegation places as they came from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw bottom side St Marychurch Conservative B.
