ASOUTH Devon hotel has invested £100,000 on green measures to cut costs and also help the environment. The Edgemoor Country House Hotel in Bovey Tracey now has a zero-to-landfill policy and has also installed a Biomass Energy Centre to cut carbon emissions.

General manager Charles Russell (pictured), said that, with the environment in mind and to support local businesses, the hotel also sources its wood chip in South Devon to save on its carbon footprint.
