ERIC Lloyd & Co was amongst the award-winners at the recent National Homes Network of Estate Agents annual conference held at the Hilton Hotel, Tewkesbury.
The firm's director, Jonathan Bye, was presented with the award for Marketing and Technology in the medium-size firm category.
The judges commented on the firm's marketing which not only showcases the properties it is offering for sale in an attractive and eye catching manner, but also the way the firm's marketing material highlights the natural beauty of the area in which it operates creating an outstanding blend between property and location.
The firm's weekly news column also won praise from the judges as being a valuable insight into the local property market as well as providing handy tips for both buyers and sellers.
Aside from the award celebrations, the NHN National Conference provides independent estate agents with a valuable opportunity to "compare notes" with other leading estate agents from all parts of the country and learn from initiatives being used in other parts of the UK.
Throughout the day there was a series of presentations by leading industry experts enabling delegates to learn about the very latest developments in estate agency. These included an up-date on presenting client's properties on the internet in order to obtain the best possible response, an insight into the data published by the Land Registry as well as a fascinating presentation by a Chartered Surveyor giving estate agents a better insight into the methodology currently used by surveyors.
