DEVON'S folk arts charity Wren Music presents an evening of seasonal folk songs and music from Devon and beyond at St Paul's Church, Church Street, Starcross, on Saturday.

The concert features Voices In Common Exeter Folk Choir and the Rough Music East Devon Folk Orchestra

Voices In Common Exeter Folk Choir is now in its 17th year and is led by Wren Music's Matt Norman.

Traditional songs are at the heart of their repertoire, and local material is mixed with world music as well as newly-written pieces. Voices In Common has performed at major folk festivals such as Sidmouth, as well as touring Scotland, Germany and Hungary.

The Rough Music East Devon Folk Orchestra was established by Wren Music in 2001, and is led by the multiple-award winning folk musician David Faulkner. It has grown to more than 30 members playing a wide range of instruments.

They have drawn appreciative audiences across Devon.

Entry is by donation.

Proceeds from the concert will support Wren Music's ongoing work in the community and in education.

It starts at 7.30pm.
