R OYAL Seven Stars in Totnes has an extremely dedicated team of staff who aim to ensure they deliver an outstanding quality of service that complements the unique nature of the hotel.
They pride themselves on being at the heart of the community but it is not solely through location and facility that owners Nigel and Anne Way have realised their vision.
Since owning the hotel the couple has attempted to instil the attitude of providing outstanding service and truly going the extra mile in each and every member of staff.
To this extent, staff attend regular training to both reflect and discuss how they can better themselves, and therefore, the hotel.
General manager Margaret Stone said: "It is unbelievable really we have won two awards this year and we did last year. It has got to be down to our owners and the staff who put so much back into our business.
And the staff have worked really, really hard to achieve what we have tonight. We have still got it. Two years in a row to win two awards is really great. We're thrilled to bits."
