Why not end the half term with a bang! River Dart Country Park will be open from 9.00am with Dare Devil activities, hot food, refreshments and a licensed bar available throughout the day. Vintage swing boats, bouncy castle and fun games including 'splat the rat', tin can alley, hoop a prize, hook a duck. Plus Guy Fawkes and Halloween fancy dress competition and a colouring competition with amazing prizes! The bonfire lighting will take at 6.00pm with our firework display to follow.

Organised by Abbotskerswell Recreation Association. Gates open 5.00pm, Bonfire lit at 6.00pm, Firework Display at 7.00pm. The PTFA will be running a Barbecue for Food and Drinks. Sparklers will be on sale to over 18s. No alcohol to be brought onto the site. Parking is very limited in the village, so come early!

On Saturday 3th November, Moretonhampstead Sports and Community Centre is hosting the annual Fireworks Display for the village. South-west firework company ‘Skyburst’ will be choreographing a superb display; there will be roast pork rolls with apple sauce and stuffing and hot soup with a ‘special brew’ of mulled wine available and hot chocolate, as well as a full range of drinks from the Centre’s licensed Bar.
