Pippa Clarke, head of Bishop Fleming's international team, presents on overseas expansion and investment and Colin Halsey, CEO of Hymid Multishot, delivers an inspiring presentation on making a vision happen.
Ian McFadzen, head of the Marine Innovation Centre at Plymouth University, outlines how research can be translated into reality.
Jonathan Ellis, from Bloodhound SCC, talks about inspiring the next generation and Paul McCutchion, from CALMARE, Centre for Alternative Materials and Remanufacturing, University of Exeter, points to how the south west manufacturing industry can gain a competitive edge.
The morning session is rounded off with Q&As to a panel of industry experts and the afternoon session stages a series of seminars.
