2nd Friday breakfast speaker Andrew Dean will be talking about the 'aspirational and entrepreneurial culture'.
Andrew joined the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust in 2010 as director of development and engagement.
Dame Hannah is one of the larger employers in Teignbridge and employs more than 200 people from the local community, 30 per cent of whom have a form of disability.
With 15 years' experience in the non-profit sector, Andrew has worked nationally and internationally in leadership roles with the Royal British Legion and Royal Armouries before becoming head of fundraising at the Royal National Institute for Deaf People, securing major partnerships with Lloyds TSB and T-Mobile.
During his time as a fundraising consultant, Andrew has worked with many clients including Breast Cancer Care.
In 2006, he left consultancy to work at Make-A-Wish Foundation International in the US, responsible for fundraising and marketing across 30 countries, working with Disney and Mattel.
Andrew went on to establish the fundraising operation for a new start-up charity Malaria No More UK in London, before beginning the challenge at the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.
