IT'S HOT! Another great place to take your human for a cool down while the weather stays warm is the lovely coastal resort of Dawlish Warren.

To get to the resort by car travel along the A379 until you pass Starcross then, after half-a-mile, turn left on to Church Road.

After one-and-a-half miles turn left on to Dawlish Warren Road and then left again on to Beach Road.

Parking is available in the Teignbridge Council car park.

This is a great place to visit as it not only has the sea but it also has a nature reserve but I would advise downloading a leaflet so you know where us dogs are allowed to play. To find out, log on to www.dawlishwarren.info/useful-info/dogs-on-the-beach/

There are, of course, the usual doggy restrictions in place on the beach from April 1 to September 30 where us dogs are only allowed between groynes three to nine, but don't be put off by this.

I love taking the humans there as we generally play the game of 'get wet and shake on the human', which my brothers and sister and I love doing, especially Quirky.

When the humans have got adequately wet and have cooled off, I lead them into the nearby Waterside pub, which allows dogs in if on lead and sometimes, if the humans are good, I let them eat in here.

I have noticed that they also take great pleasure in playing in the arcade across the way, which I again sometimes let them do (dogs are allowed in the arcade also).

All fed and watered, we make our way home.

Another great place to visit.

Woof , woof!
