SOUTH Devon's Scarlett Entertainment was booked to perform at the FIA's World Endurance Championship in Bahrain following a successful run at last year's event.
The group performed their children's musical show which included scenes, songs and costumes from Mary Poppins, the Wizard of Oz and Hairspray.
Titled '6 Hours in Bahrain' the international motorsport event was held at the Bahrain International Circuit and an FIA spokesman said after the performance: "The event was great and the team, as always, are fantastic.
Torbay's Paul Murphy, one of the lead performers from the group, said: "The World Endurance Championships event in Bahrain was amazing and great for us to be a part of once again.
"The families loved the eye-catching children's theatre shows and were very pleased to meet such wonderful characters, especially the enchanting Mary Poppins and all the colourful characters from the Wizard of Oz.
"We even managed to get the audiences dancing to the upbeat songs from the great Broadway musical Hairspray.
"The event organisers were very impressed by the quality of the performers and after the event they were keen to talk about future plans for new shows for their fantastic Formula One Grand Prix event in April next year.
"All in all it was a great success and a pleasure to work for such wonderful clients who appreciate all the hard work which goes in to putting the shows together."
