TORQUAY mother-of-two Hanna Ross has set up her own business as a virtual personal assistant.
Hanna who set up HRPA, Personal Assistant and Secretarial Solutions Ltd in early 2013, identified a gap in the market where personal assistant, secretarial, administrative and clerical services could be provided to individuals and small businesses when they require them.
Hanna said: "Due to the increase in local business in the area, I felt there would be a need for 'pay as you go' administrative services for these local business to utilise to help them keep their costs to a minimum."
Hanna has had more than 12 years' experience as a secretary and personal assistant for senior managers within a number of different settings, including the National Health Service, police authority and Oxford University.
For nearly two years she worked as executive PA to Baroness Susan Greenfield, neuroscientist, author and member of the House of Lords. Hanna currently works as clerk to school governors for three local primary schools.
She holds a number of qualifications including a diploma in secretarial procedures, NVQ3 in administration, RSA in text and word processing, European Computer Driving Licence and has studied teeline shorthand.
