A TEAM from the Herald Express is the latest to join the 2014 Sleep Walk Corporate Challenge. It will be joining more than 1,500 women who will be coming together to pound the pavements and raise vital funds for their local hospice, Rowcroft, on Saturday, July 26 when the buzz of Brazil, the sounds of samba and the rhythm of Rio to the streets of South Devon for this year's carnival themed night walk.
Anneke Blackledge, media sales executive at the Herald Express, said: "We have a number of people at our Torquay office who have friends, family and colleagues that have been touched by the incredible levels of care and support provided by the team at Rowcroft Hospice.
"We are delighted to be able to help raise money to help Rowcroft continue to provide its vital work.
"Without the public and indeed businesses via the Corporate Challenge, signing up to initiatives such as the brilliant Sleep Walk, the hospice would no doubt struggle to maintain the truly invaluable services it provides."
