SOUTH Devon law firm Wollen Michelmore is setting up a new department to deal with medical negligence claims.
The department will be run by Amanda Harvey and Elizabeth Larner who have joined Wollen Michelmore's Torquay office and will advise and pursue claims on behalf of those whose medical treatment falls below the accepted standard of care including people who have suffered infections such as MRSA.
Amanda has more than 20 years experience advising clients on claims involving serious personal injury and clinical negligence.
Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 2008. She has developed an expertise in clinical negligence with a particular interest in healthcare-associated infections including MRSA and C-Difficile.
Amanda and Elizabeth are members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Devon and Exeter Medico Legal Association.
