THE Food Shop at The Shops at Dartington has been re-launched after being newly positioned and tripled in size.
With live jazz music and local producers, including Blueberry Brothers, Bell and Loxton, South Devon Chilli Farm, Tom's Pies and Partridge Farm treating visitors to tastings, there was a real buzz to the day.
Barbara King, managing director of The Shops at Dartington, said: "We were delighted with the success of the official launch and to see such vast numbers of people visiting. We have received a hugely positive response and some fantastic feedback, not only from visitors but also from many of our new local producers and suppliers."
The shop will showcase the very best of produce from both the local region as well as the wider West Country.
The Shops at Dartington hold a regular food producers' market, Love Food Dartington supported by Food and Drink Devon and held on the last Sunday of every month.
The Shops at Dartington Food Fair is returning on Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1. Now in its fourth year, with Taste of the West as one of the sponsors, it is gaining a name for itself in food lovers' calendars.
The day offers more than 50 of the region's food and drink producers exhibiting, art and crafts stalls, entertainment from local bands and children's activities.
