WELL this week I'm celebrating my birthday and am looking forward to celebrating with my friends here at Palm tomorrow.

If you have an October birthday like me happy birthday to you too.

October at Palm 105.5 is in full swing and we have some brilliant competitions and events taking place in the next few weeks for you.

The Box of Bras campaign is well and truly underway with more than 3,000 bras already collected.

I must say thank you to my granny, Heather Hall, who has joined in and donated her bras and if you would like to help us make a difference find your nearest bra station online at www.palm.fm

A few weeks ago we launched the Dobles Young Designer of the Year Award for 2012, open to all children in South Devon aged 12 and under.

For your chance to design and make an amazing piece of jewellery worth £500 to give to a loved one this Christmas get creative today.

Full details can be found online at www.palm.fm or you can collect an application form from the Palm studios in Torquay.

We're also giving all the children of South Devon the chance to enjoy a Ghoul Ride to School with the Palm team and Creally Great Adventure Park.

Five lucky winners will be driven to school in the Palm Ghoul Mobile and will receive a bag full of goodies to celebrate Halloween in style with.

Tune in to horrible Hogie at breakfast to be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize.

And while we're on the subject of Halloween, you can join me on Wednesday, October 31 for an amazing Halloween party at Woodlands Family Theme Park near Dartmouth.

We'll be judging the best fancy dress, playing loads of games and giving you the chance to win!

Everyone is welcome no matter what your age and we look forward to seeing you there.

Next week we have an incredibly exciting announcement to make regarding Christmas in Torquay and Paignton.

To be the first to hear about what we have planned tune in to Palm 105.5 or grab a copy of the Herald next Thursday.

Have a lovely week.
