ENTREPRENEUR, mentor and angel investor, Bev Hurley (pictured) is delivering a fully-funded two-day Business Booster masterclass to help local 'ambitious-but-stuck' businesses.

The events, which will take place on Thursday, May 29 and Wednesday June 11 at Torre Abbey, will provide small business owners with really practical strategic insights, tools and first-hand knowledge on how to overcome the challenges to growth.

Bev is one of the UK's leading authorities on growing small businesses, whether that's taking on the first employee, moving from a micro business to a dozen or more employees, or growing multi-million pound businesses. She holds the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion and was awarded a CBE in the Queen's New Year Honours 2014.

Part of the acclaimed YTKO Growth Programme, the intensive Business Booster masterclass is specifically designed for small business owners who are keen to expand, but just need a bit of additional, professional support to get them started.

Over 700 businesses have benefited to date, reporting sustained increases in turnover and profitability, and personal confidence, focus and motivation.

Bev said: "This is a great opportunity for those small business owners in Torbay who want to build their knowledge and capacity for growth, and I'm very much looking forward to facilitating the Booster programme. Businesses also get such benefit from working together with their peers who are all ambitious to grow and ready to share their own experiences and perspectives."

The events are supported by Bishop Fleming chartered Accountants.
