A FLEET of shiny vehicles will be a highlight of the Inter-Line Fun Day on Paignton Green on Sunday September 29.
The building supplies company’s fleet of vehicles will be on the Green to give visitors the chance to see some of the latest heavy goods machinery close-up.
Company spokesman Gemma Parker said: “There will be lots for people to do, and plenty for children.
“It’s all to do with encouraging children’s interest in the construction trade. We want to meet the builders of the future!”
The line-up for the event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, also includes family games, gorilla painting with Paignton Zoo, bouncy castles, ice creams, a barbecue, face painting and a rodeo bull simulator.
Gemma added: “There will be 22 HGV vehicles lined up on the Green, and children will be able to climb on the trucks and see how they work.
“Among the vehicles will be a £120,000 eight-wheeler, and we will be demonstrating crane driving as well.”
Inter-Line are also backing one of Torbay’s longest-running summer events by becoming sponsors of Children’s Week from 2014.
