MORRIS dancers helped raise funds for charity in Paignton.

The Black Bess Morris Dancers put on an amazing display on Paignton seafront and helped raise £70 towards funds for Sue Ryder.

Susie Petford, Sue Ryder's fundraising co-ordinator for Paignton, said: "We would like to thank Kath Jones especially for making this event happen, Jane Thomas and to each and everyone of the Black Bess Morris Dancers for taking time and giving from the heart, also thank you to everyone who held collection boxes.

"A special mention goes to little Jake on a marvellous debut performance.

"A big thank you to The Flagship which allowed us the top deck of the restaurant to lay out a well-earned cream tea for everyone and for all their help.

"The kindness of everyone cannot be measured. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
