New police appeal for Kingsteignton crash witnesses.

POLICE are appealing for specific witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the B3193 Claypits Lane Kingsteignton on Thursday, January 3.

 

A statement by the police reads: "Following previous appeals, two potential witnesses have been identified. They are described as two workmen who were wearing high visibility trousers. They kindly stopped to assist at the collision, having travelled from the Chudleigh direction.

 

"The collision, which happened at around 4.45pm, involved a Ford Focus and a Ford Fiesta, resulted in the death of an 83-year-old man and the hospitalisation of two other people.

 

"Police would like to thank members of the public who have responded to the witness appeal boards and ask that these two men or anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the police on 101 quoting log number 449 030113."
