OXJAM 2013 hits Torquay Harbourside on Sunday, and the teams at Oxjam and the Apple and Parrot have secured some of the best in local and national talent in aid of charity.
The Scribes (pictured), a Bristol-based hip hop four-piece, will be playing alongside local blues duo Moriaty. The Scribes have just been signed to Kamikaze Records, while Moriaty's latest EP Esperanza has been met with rave reviews.
Also on the line up are Occombe Farm headliners Triple Threat, The Jar Family, Owen Penrice, Mandalas and The Stone Angels. The night is hosted by DJ Yabbs. Mat Jarratt, operations manager for Lifestyle Events, said: "We are really pleased to be a part of Oxjam 2013 and are very excited with the line-up we have. It's such a pleasure to see talented musicians grace our stage and we are pleased to be supporting a good cause."
The event is free entry, but donations are welcome. The Apple and Parrot's first Album Acoustic Sessions Volume 1 is on sale now with profits going to Oxjam and is available from the venue.
Sunday's live music starts at 6pm and runs until 1am with DJ Yabbs playing through until 3am.
