HUNDREDS of people braved one of the coldest nights of the year to celebrate bonfire night.

Displays fell on Monday, November 5 itself, at Abbotskerswell, Ogwell and Watcombe, Torquay, where other areas celebrated on Saturday.

The traditional display at Abbotskerswell featured a huge bonfire which helped to warm the crowds.

Devon and Somerset Fire Rescue reported few call-outs on November 5.
