Paddleboard pilates

PILATES meets paddleboarding in a new company based in Babbacombe.

Flow Physio and Pilates has been set up by Katie Watson, a chartered physiotherapist and pilates instructor.

She said: "People are always looking for ways to try new sports or adapt old ones. With Flow, I decided to combine two of my favourite forms of exercise pilates and paddleboarding.

"Pilates is an excellent form of physical activity for all ages and abilities. It helps to build muscle tone, improve flexibility and body awareness. By combining it with paddleboarding, it opens up a unique experience that challenges our balance further, whilst offering the opportunity of a great all body work out paddling in the water."

Sadly, the sun can't always shine in Torbay and Flow offers Pilates classes at the Aztec studio on Thursdays.

Flow Physio and Pilates also provides physiotherapy for musculoskeletal problems, such as back pain, whiplash and sports injuries, as well as sports massage and acupuncture.
