HANNAH Williams was Paignton Ladies' match winner with a try a minute from time against Dorchester.
The Cherries had gone from 10-5 up at half time to 15-10 down before getting it together in the dying stages.
A debut try by Rebecca Kenshole, who went in under the posts, got Paignton off the mark. The conversion went wide.
Dorchester were dominant at the rucks and drew level with a try.
Paignton's line-outs were much improved and produced several good balls for the backs.
A good dummy pass from scrum-half Lou Lewis saw her break through then put Williams in under the posts.
Just after half time saw Paignton's Vicky Back left the pitch with a pulled quad muscle, forcing the team to play on one short.
Dorchester capitalised on Paignton's shortcoming and hit back with two tries in quick succession.
Paignton's Vicky Hodder at 10 passed and looped to receive the ball back from Jordan Crook at 13 to break free and even up the score.
The last try came from Williams with a pick up off the back of the ruck five meters out. She was able to stay on her feet and reach over the line.
Kenshole, Dawn Shaw and Alana Riley did well first time out for the Cherries.

Sian Brooks had her first run out with the All Whites and showed real flair in both defence and attack.
Laura Waddleton gave a great performance with her well-timed kicking skills and domination in the line-out.
Erica Mills was unstoppable at centre, tackling hard and punching holes in the defence. Try scorers were Waddleton, Mills and fleet-footed winger Chloe Mitchell.
TWO Newton Abbot ladies have been included in the Devon U18 squad for the season ahead.
Georgia Scrase-Vallance and Poppy Hannis-Smith were talent spotted at the county trials.
Newton Abbot's Molly Hann will be playing in the U15s.
