POLICE are investigating an alleged road rage incident in Torquay involving drivers in their 60s.
The drivers of a Mercedes and a Jaguar were involved in an altercation at the junction of Walnut Road and Old Mill Road in Chelston.
Both drivers were in their sixties and police say one was left with cuts, bruises and a ripped shirt.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
A police spokesman said: "The drivers of a red Jaguar car and blue Mercedes CLK are believed to have been involved in an altercation at the junction which police believe would have been seen by other motorists in the area."
Police said the 66-year-old male driver of the Mercedes suffered cuts, bruises and a damaged shirt.
They want to speak to the driver of the Jaguar to get his account of what may have happened.
Police say the driver of the Jaguar is described as a white man, around 60 years old with a grey goatee beard, heavy build and cockney accent."
The incident happened some time between 3pm and 3.10pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
