TWO members of staff from Greenlife in Totnes travelled to City Hall in Bristol to receive a silver award at the Southwest Fairtrade Business Awards.

The ceremony was attended by 150 civic and business leaders. The aim of the awards is to increase sales of and support for Fairtrade among local businesses by promoting businesses which support Fairtrade and encouraging others to do more.

The award ceremony fell during Fairtrade Fortnight during which time Greenlife had in-store offers and events promoting Fairtrade, this year particularly highlighting the issue of Fairtrade bananas.
