SOUTH Devon law firm Boyce Hatton has appointed Martin Roberts to its Wills, Trusts and Probate Team.
Martin joins the firm with over 20 years experience in private client legal practice and more recently with the Co-operative Legal Services where he was a senior case handler.
His experience includes probate applications, the administration of estates, the preparation of wills and settlements, deputy applications to the Court of Protection, advice on and preparation of all types of powers of attorney and lifetime tax and care fee planning.
Martin's appointment comes at a time when Boyce Hatton is seeing an upturn in the amount of work in this area.
Peter Cox, partner and Head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team, said: "How we prepare for later life, how we ensure our elderly loved ones are properly provided for, and how we manage later life care, are all topical issues which affect a growing number of families – not just in Torbay but also nationwide.
"Martin's skills and expertise are a great complement to those already available to clients in our team, and we welcome him to the team."
