ROWCROFT Hospice has opened a new furniture and electricals outlet in Torquay.

A recent campaign asked local people to donate their good quality used furniture, white goods, electricals and other household items to Rowcroft.

The response was overwhelming and the new outlet has opened at Teignmouth Road.

Shop Manager Matt Hazlitt-Coles said: "Customers have been flooding in to browse our range of stock and purchase items for their home.

"New donations are coming in everyday and we're offering everything from fridges and freezers to three-piece suites, bedroom furniture and dining room tables and chairs.

"All of our items are priced fairly, enabling people to buy items for their home, whatever their budget may be. It's our way of offering something back to our community."

Rowcroft Hospice has recently opened shops in Ashburton and Teignmouth.

If you are planning a house clearance, or if you would like to donate large items to Rowcroft can arrange a free collection.
