SAM Moore and her father Trevor have opened their second shop in Brixham.

Sam’s Super Saver, in Bolton Street, sells household products, pet accessories, DIY products and baby items.

Sam said: “Our first shop, Sam’s Soaps, on Fore Street, has been trading successfully for three years and we have been looking for some time for a new retail challenge in Brixham.

“When these premises became available, we felt it was ideally suited to replace the household goods shop which had recently closed on Fore Street. Lynne Pittam, who used to run that shop, was a great help to us.

“We turned the shop around in less than seven days from agreeing the lease. I don’t think we have ever worked so hard in such a short time – finding suppliers, sign making, shop fitting, painting, cleaning, polishing and stacking the shelves.

“Although the operation is a real family affair we are so grateful to our group of special friends who are always happy to help us. Brixham really is a close community and without their support we couldn’t have achieved what we have.

“We have also received invaluable help and advice from Brixham Chamber of Commerce.”
