IF you're interested in exploring the benefits and possibilities of starting a social enterprise in Torbay, a series of free workshops could provide the ideal first step.

The events are for those who want to learn from scratch about social enterprises or who plan to launch or expand one.

They will provide valuable information and support as well as advice on marketing, finance and legal topics.

For those who want to learn how platforms like Facebook and Twitter could benefit their organisation, the social media for social enterprise workshop is the perfect opportunity.

The Social Enterprise Focus Service in Torbay is delivered by Peninsula Enterprise and funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Torbay Development Agency.

These events are part of a free business start-up support programme being delivered across Torbay to help people set up their own business.
