South Devon on high tide flood alert

THE Environment Agency issued a Flood Alert covering South Devon this morning.

They said flooding was possible for coastal and tidal areas anywhere from Plymouth to Lyme Regis at high tide, around 7.30am.

High tide in Torbay was at 7.08am with a 5.2metre tide.

The forecast wind direction is south-south-west with wind strength of Force Six.
