THERE was plenty for Torquay ladies to play for in their competition with the county Stableford, the final Stableford and the Macmillan Spoon.

The Stableford format was a welcome relief from the plethora of medal competitions played over recent weeks.

Young Molly Haslam continued her splendid year by carding 38 points which reduced her handicap by 0.3 to within one point of the dizzy heights of three. She wins the Macmillan silver spoon.

The final Stableford competition is for winners of a Stableford competition throughout the season and the victors were Charlotte Dommett in the silver division and Hayley Ratcliff in the bronze division. They now qualify for the County finals next year.
