Suspects, secrets, and suspense with Christie

THE Official Agatha Christie Theatre Company is on the road with the play Go Back For Murder, which comes to the Princess Theatre, Torquay, from September 16 to 21.

Actress Liza Goddard, of ITV's long-running game show Give Us A Clue, appears as Miss Williams.

Sophie Ward, whose extensive TV and film credits most recently include the award-winning BBC period drama series Land Girls, ITV's Heartbeat, BBC's Holby City and the 2011 film Jane Eyre plays Carla Crale.

Robert Duncan, fondly remembered for his role as jargon spouting chief executive Gus Hedges in Channel 4's Drop The Dead Donkey is Philip Blake; Peak Practice actor Andrew Attwood is Amyas Crale; Lysette Anthony, who enjoyed a career as a model before becoming a household name with acting roles in Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives and the BBC sitcom, Three Up, Two Down, appears -as Elsa Greer.

Ben Nealon, fondly remembered for his role as Jeremy Forsyth in the long running ITV drama Soldier, Soldier plays Justin Fogg and completes an all star cast.

Carla Le Marchant has to live with a disturbing family secret: her mother, Caroline Crale, died in prison while serving life for killing her husband.

But on finding a letter in which Caroline claims she's innocent, Carla becomes obsessed, determined to clear her mother's name.

Enlisting the help of Justin Fogg, the son of Caroline's defence lawyer, Carla tracks down a number of people from her mother's tragic past, only to uncover a shocking truth.

Expect suspects, secrets, and suspense in this production.

Go Back For Murder was adapted by Christie in 1960 from her novel Five Little Pigs, editing out the legendary detective Poirot for the stage version.
